Jill Hennessey is the Senior Vice President and Market Leader of Commercial Banking in Northern Ohio for The PNC Financial Services Group.
Hennessey joined PNC in 1991 and is responsible for managing the sales and marketing activities of the Northern Ohio Region; which includes Cleveland, Akron and Youngstown. In this role, Hennessey brings 29 years of broad experience to PNC Bank’s commercial client base.
Prior to her current role, she served as Commercial Banking Regional Manager for the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Louis markets and was the West Market Integration Coordinator on the Commercial Banking Leadership Team. Hennessey held the position of head of Director of Investor Relations prior to her move to the Commercial Banking Group in 2009. She has also held leadership positions in Business Banking, Retail Banking, and Human Resources.
In addition to her business experience, Hennessey is active in the local community. She is Vice Chairperson and board member for The Highland Foundation and also serves as Chairperson of the Special Events Committee. She is an active board member and member of the Finance Committee for The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio. She also serves as a board member for Christian Education at the Medina United Church of Christ.
Hennessey graduated from Ohio University in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications. In 1994, she earned her master’s degree from Baldwin Wallace College.
