Kathy Hirko spent 17 years as the owner of KAZ Company a manufacturer’s representative company in the office products industry, selling school supplies and office products to dealers and big box stores until 2007 when the company’s largest customer moved out of the state. Kathy sold the office products contracts ending the manufacturers rep chapter of the business. She redefined her company in 2010 as an Independent Insurance Agency with a focus on educating people about Medicare and helping them find plans that would best fit their needs. Over the past 11 years Kathy has worked hard to create brand recognition for KAZ Company and has accomplished this through her 2–minute television segments on Sunday mornings with Channel 3 and Channel 5.
Kathy has always been active in the community and is involved as a board member with Boomer and Beyond Magazine, Coats for Kids and is a past Chairperson and current board member of University Hospitals Senior Network. She also co-founded the Fox 8 Stuff the Bus and Cleveland Kid’s In Need Resource Center.
