Chris Quinn is the Vice President of Content for Advance Ohio.

Chris leads the journalistic priorities and digital news strategy for cleveland.com. He is a seasoned journalist and is intimately familiar with Northeast Ohio, having worked at The Plain Dealer for more than 17 years. In 2006 he began leading the newspaper’s Metro operation, overseeing the newspaper’s exhaustive coverage of the Cuyahoga County corruption crisis, the Anthony Sowell serial killings, the Chardon school shooting and a long stream of enterprise stories including the Cleveland Clinic heart center project, a year-long investigation of the prosecution practices of Bill Mason and an examination of the use of force by Cleveland Police, currently under investigation by the U.S. Justice Department.

Before joining The Plain Dealer, Chris worked as a reporter for the Burlington County Herald in New Jersey, the Delaware State News in Dover, the Patriot-News in Harrisburg and the Orlando Sentinel. For more than three years, he has been a weekly guest on the Friday Journalism Roundtable on WCPN.

Chris is a graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. He lives in Cleveland Heights with his wife Kathy and their golden retriever, Ella. Their son lives in Michigan, and their daughter lives in Maryland.
