The Plain Dealer’s Top Workplaces 2019 seeks to recognize area employers who are doing things right. It’s about you, the local business community, and who you feel are the top businesses to work for in Northeast Ohio. It’s a chance to honor those who create an environment and culture where workers feel respected and rewarded, and where those same workers feel as if they can enrich their skills while contributing to a mission they believe in. Top Workplace winners attribute success to their amazing employees!
We celebrated the 10th year anniversary of the Top Workplaces competition at The Hilton in downtown Cleveland. This annual evaluation of Northeast Ohio workplaces is conducted by The Plain Dealer and workplace consultant Energage.
The Plain Dealer recognized 150 companies and organizations in Cleveland as Top Workplaces for 2019. These companies were recognized based solely on employee nominations and surveys, we received 46,915 responses. There were 500+ attendees and 56 different companies at this year’s event!
Since The Plain Dealer first identified employers most praised by their workers 10 years ago, the list of winners has continued to grow. The winners range from manufacturers, technology companies and marketing firms to professional service firms, banks, hospitals, and schools.
